Let the kids stay up tonight and watch the Perseids Meteor shower, named for the constellation Perseus. Prime viewing is reported to be at about 11 PM tonight and into the pre-dawn hours of Thursday morning. With no moon tonight, we should have optimal viewing. The kids and I will be watching the 50-80 meteors per hour from the comfort of our back yard trampoline.
